3rd selections. |

SAR 8/23/08 |
Hit the Travers Stakes superfecta
cold. Top choice Colonel John got the head bob, and the 2-9-11-8
combination returned $1785 for $2. |
|
SAR 8/18/08 |
Caught both pick4's at Saratoga
today, the 4-3-1-10 combo ending in the 5th paid $1236. |
|
AP 8/9/08 |
Hit the trifecta COLD in
the Arlington Million. Top choice Spirit One paid $29.40 to win, and
the 3-1-7 tri returned $264. |

LAD 8/3/08 |
If one horse stood out today, it was
905 at Louisiana Downs - Sue Can Do. This multiple profile selection
was lone closer (+9) going 7 furlongs, and best pedigree in the race (28).
Sue Can Do paid $17.80 to win. |

EVD 7/31/08 |
$2642 pick4 at Evangeline - the 5-9-5-5 combo
hit with small ticket. |

SAR 7/30/08 |
Saratoga's 3rd race superfecta hit COLD with our top four picks.
The 3-10-8-2 combo returned $1179. |

MTH 7/23/08 |
Hit both of
Monmouth's pick4's and the pick5. The
8-5-2-4 pick4 ending in the 5th paid $232 for
$1, the 1-10-1-5 pick4 ending in the 9th paid
$734 for $1, and the
4-1-10-1-5 pick5 in the last paid $2478 for
fifty cents. Only needed to go 3 deep in
races 3 and 9. |

EVD 6/18/08 |
$546 pick3
ending in Evangeline's 6th race (11-3-12), and
our top number hit the late pick4 COLD.
The 2-2-8-9 combo paid $483. |

AP 6/15/08 |
Top 3
trifecta and top 4 super hit Arlingtons's 6th

PEN 6/14/08 |
3 out of 4
hit the 12-12-6-8 pick4 at Penn National for
$185, but our top numbers would have taken then
pool. |
|
EVD 6/4/08 |
Got out in
Evangeline's 9th race by keying the 4 horse on
the tri and super tickets. The 3
scratched, making Prince Ante our top pick,
paying $17.00 to win. Preston's Sefapiano
(#4) figured to come running late with her +11
pace figure in a race with nothing but speed.
We keyed her in 2nd and 3rd, and the 7-11-4-9
tri and super paid $916 and $6247. |
|
LS 5/30/08 |
Although Suave Quest
was our second choice in Lone Star's 4th race,
the pace and his pedigree pointed to him as
the winner. His running line showed him as
the best closer in a race full of speed, and his
sire ranking (9) was best in that category.
He paid $16.40 to win, and the 2-1-4 trifecta
returned $208. |
|
BEL 5/24/08 |
Belmont's
late pick4 was triggered by Monastic Springs,
our 2nd choice in the 7th, paying $27.80 to win.
This first time starter showed the best turf
pedigree (5) in the race. The 3-6-8-2
combination returned $3293 for two.

HOL 5/21/08 |
We hit the
1-9-7-8 late pick4 at Hollywood, paying $2545
for a dollar, using top 2 choices in each leg. |

$45.60
winner in the 6th at Penn National, and the
4-5-12-10 super paid $3134. |

PEN 5/8/08 |
We swept
the card at Penn National, hitting numerous
exactas and trifectas, and sweeping every pick3
and pick4 on the card. Total pick3's:
$3500, pick4's: $6100. |

Big Brown
Eight Belles |
He looks
like the most probable triple crown winner in
several years. He has answered every
question about bad feet, bad post positions, and
too few races. He is getting better with
every race, and should easily win the Preakness,
if anyone out there decides to race against him.
Rest in peace, Eight Belles. You beat 18
colts in the Kentucky Derby, and you've earned your place in history.

TUP 4/29/08 |
Lady Loushe
gave me too many reasons not to pass the
6th at Turf Paradise. She was the class of
the field (22), she showed a 0 in the +/- among
almost all negatives in the race, and had the
top turf breeding in the race (29). She
returned $25.00 to win and the 2-8-5-1 super
paid $365. |
|
SA 4/20/08 |
The last
pick4 of the Santa Anita meet was hit using our
top selections. The 11-5-5-6 combination
paid $1612 for a dollar. We missed it when
Charlie refused to split this $81 ticket with me
- (7,9,11)with(1,4,5)with(1,4,5)with(1,6,8).
He said to shorten the ticket a bit, so our $36
play missed when I tried to single the 10th.
|
|
SA 3/30/08 |
Top 4 box
in Santa Anita's 9th race Sunday netted the
3-1-5-12 tri and super, paying $742 and $2199
for a dollar. The payoffs were triggered
by our longshot third choice, Curvey Star, who
paid $28.60 to place. |
|
GP 3/29/08 |
Caught the
tri and super in the Florida Derby Saturday.
Had to use Big Brown in the top spot, in case he
ran off with the race, which he did. He
answered his critics by overcoming a horrible
post position, running blistering fractions, and
having something left for the stretch.
Pyro will have to catch this one in Louisville.
Longshots Smooth Air and Tomcito ran 2nd and
3rd, and we used Hey Byrn in the 4th spot only.
12-2-4-9 tri and super paid $702 for two and
$2911 for one. |
|
HAW 3/14/08 |
Top 2
exacta in Hawthorne's last race Friday.
The first time starter 2 horse paid $74.60 to
win, and the 2-6 exacta paid $451. If you
went deep enough to get to the 7 horse in the
third hole, the tri and super paid $8145 for $2
and $5939 for $1. |

Turfway's 7th race superfecta COLD. The

HOU 3/8/08 |
Sam
Houston's 2nd race looked too easy. The 1,
Bob's Program, appeared to be the class of the
speed, and the 3rd choice 7 horse, Don's Bid,
appeared to be the lone closer by far. The
1 paid $5.60 to win and the 7 came running
to pay $21.00 to place. They ran 1-7-8-6
and the gimmicks paid $119, $444, and $3703.

win. |

GP 3/1/08 |
Top 4
selections hit Gulfstream's 7th race tri and
super for $3368 and $12,142. Highly
Honored, our second choice, paid $61.20 to win,
and they ran 1-11-4-12. This race also
finished the 5-7-1 pick3, paying $1409 for $1.
Also caught the next two pick3's for $720 and
$1494. |

PEN 2/15/08
|
The 2nd
race at Penn National Friday night got me out of
my chair quick. The 8 horse, Sunrisefordad, was lone-closer at 13-1,
at a race track where front speed quits often. I keyed him
first and second with the 1-2-9-10, and hit the trifecta for $1588. |
|
FG 2/9/08
|
$6786
trifecta and $21,039 superfecta in the last race

If one race
caught my eye on Thursday, it was the 5th at
Tampa Bay Downs. Our second choice paid
$77.80 to win, the 8-10 exacta paid $195, the
8-10-1-3 tri and super paid $$1500 and $1900.
The top 4 finishers had the 4 best turf sire
rankings in the race. |

paying $364 and $9936. |

AQU 1/17/08 |
$4045 pick4

three second choices and a third choice longshot
in the last. |

TP 1/13/08 |
Every race

second, or third choice. 9-10-2-4 pick4

HOU 1/12/08 |
Race 9 at
Sam Houston Saturday night had a very attractive
'multiple profile' horse that jumped off the
sheet at me, so I had to make a rare $100 win
bet on her. Our second choice, Joy of the
Dance, showed the only late-running style with a
+1, and was by far the best turf bred horse in
the race with a 7 turf sire ranking (Rahy, 7th
ranked broodmare sire). I was hoping to
get 3-1 on her, but was delighted to get a 7-1
overlay. She came running on the rail as
expected, but was blocked the entire stretch,
getting loose in the final yards, and missing by
half a head. The 4-3-8-7 super paid $1030.
She was obviously the best horse in the race,
but the best horse doesn't always win.
That one hurt. I should make a special web
page called Recent Disappointments.

SA 12/26/07 |
Opening day
at Santa Anita was a good day for RHR users.
Seven of nine races were right on the money,
second choice Johnny Eves paid $24 to win in the
7th, our streak ended by missing the 8th, won by
Monterey Jazz, but we finished the card by
nailing the last race 8-4 exacta box, paying $70
for two. |

DED 12/21/07 |
Made a
little Christmas money by hitting the pick4 at
Delta Friday night. The price was
triggered by our third choice in the 7th.
The longshot 6 horse, Little Bitty Slew paid $28
to win, top choice won the 9th and 10th, and the 6-2-7-4 combination returned
$1208. |

My Second
Chance, the 9 horse in Golden Gate's 6th race
Sunday, was the lone closer going 1 mile at a
good price. He checked on the second turn,

The 9-8-4-3 tri and super paid $306 and $789.

$49.80
winner in Mountaineer's second race completed

trifecta was yours. |

HAW 10/25/07 |
Cause She's
Crafty, the 6 horse in Hawthorne's 5th, figured
to run better than her predicted finish on the
sheet. Her sire, Giant's Causeway, was the
6th ranked turf sire to date, and nothing else
in the race came close to her turf breeding.
She won at 17-1, and our top numbers ran right
behind her at the wire. The 6-7-3-5 super
paid $4886 for a dollar. Here was a spot
where the sire rankings stood out, and pointed
to the longshot winner. |

RET 10/18/07 |
Enormous
trifecta payoff in Retama's 4th race Thursday

Would have had the pick6 alone with 4 top

The
following petition was posted in a horse racing
forum at PaceAdvantage.com. I thought it
was worth listing here.
Urgent Jockey Club Petition:
I'm
going to remember this year's Derby, not as the
year that Street Sense repeated his rail hugging
Juvenile, but as the time in decades I'd not bet
on the Derby. I'm going to remember it as the
year that American racing began to fall apart.
The Jockey Club is having a meeting later this
week and a member who prefers to remain
anonymous has agreed to present a petition to
them. If you'd like to use your real name but
not post it on the board-pmail me and I'll write
it in. If you want to use your screen name-have
at it. If you know people from other boards that
might be interested, please alert them.
Petition
We as players are offended and
disgusted by the wrangling that TrackNet, TVG
and other content providers have engaged in with
regards to the simulcast signals. We believe
that many executives in the business overlook
the fact that without us, the racing industry
would cease to exist.
The operation of a race track and
the ability to conduct inter-track simulcasting
of racing events is a privilege not a right. We
request that the Jockey Club, the NTRA and all
powers that be immediately intervene to mediate
the disputes that are destroying this great
game.
We demand that all licensed
racetracks, simulcast facilities and ADWs
be accorded immediate access to
all simulcast signals at rates that are fair and
equitable to all, the tracks, the horseman, and
the players. Let the customers decide who to
reward with their business.
In the absence of responsible
action, horse player boycotts are a certainty. |

LAD 8/03/07 |
Probably
the most significant upgrade to this system, the
sire rankings have proven to be most valuable,
especially in turf races. In the 9th at
LAD on 8/3/07, the 4 horse (Cinnamon Strike) had
the best turf breeding in the race, by far.
This 4 year old filly was sired by Smart Strike,
the 9th ranked turf sire in the top 500 as of
this race day in '07. He ran like his
daddy on this day, laid 3rd down the backstretch
as predicted, and took off in the lane, paying
$11.60 to win. |

RP 8/03/07 |
$6765 super
for a buck at Remington Friday night hit with a
top 4 box with the help of the DQ'd 9 horse.
Lasting Freedom, our 2nd choice, had the best
turf breeding with a 72, and paid $35.80 to win.
We followed that with a top choice lone closer
in the 8th, Tres Dream, paying $10.60 to win. |

DMR 7/26/07 |
Was
disappointed in the last at Saratoga, where we
got beat in the last leg of the pick4, which was
paying over $5000, but made up for it by hitting
the late pick4 at DMR twice. Our top two
selections in the 5th dead heated, giving us
7-1-4-4 and 13-1-4-4 pick4's, paying $1050 each
for a dollar. |

Split bets
today with Woshie (The Poppa Stoppa), and we
cashed 10 out of 14 bets. It started in
the 6th at Arlington, where the 2 was DQ'd and
placed 3rd, giving us the 6-5-2 trifecta for
$633. Also caught the 7-4-10 tri in
Arlington's 9th for $839. Keyed the 9 on
top in Ellis Park's 9th race, the 5 ran 3rd at
99-1, and we hit the tri and super for $696 and
$3427. Woshie knows nothing about this
game, and wants to keep it that way. He
loves the action though, and at the end of the
day his only concern is win or lose, black or
white, up or down. Don't tell him we just
got nosed out of a big score, or that we got a
bad trip, or that we got left at the gate.
He just says to turn the page and move on.
Maybe more 'cappers should think that way. |

$16.00 top choice winner in the 6th (a

Speed and
the rail were DEAD Sunday night at Mountaineer
on a muddy track, as the jocks were angling way
out to the middle of the track in the stretch.
Kiss the Groom, the 7 horse in the last race,
looked like the best closer, and the only other
closer appeared to be the 10, Always Valiant.
Keying the 7 on top, and using the 10, we were
able to pull one out late with this 7-1-10 tri
and 7-1-10-5 super paying $802 and $4823. |

Lone closer
Golden Gatorbait, the 3 horse in Delta's 3rd
Saturday night, had no choice but to close on
this field of La bred quitters. Keyed her
first and second with the 2,5,7,8 and hit
the 8-3-5 tri for $824. Golden Gatorbait paid
$11.60 to place. |
|
FG 2/4/07 |
Lone closer
in Fair Grounds' 9th race Sunday figured to come
running on the yielding turf in this sprint with
much speed in this race. Despite her 4th
place selection on the sheet, I made Equestrian
Girls my key horse in the pick4, and hit it for
$594. I put her first and second in tri's
and supers, but got split by the 1 horse
(7-5-1-9). Equestrian Girls paid $18.80 to
win. |

TP 12/22/06 |
Turfway's
8th race Friday had an obvious pace scenario
with Play Fast, the 2 horse, being the inside
speed in this route without much pace. He
only has to beat the 10 and the 11 to the lead,
which he did, and had plenty left for the
stretch. Play Fast ran fast and paid
$24.80 to win. Hit the tri and 2-4-1-3
super for $1327 and $3562. |

TP 12/17/06 |
Turfway's
first race super for $224, 2nd race tri and

Top 2
exacta in the first at Aqueduct paid $120, cold

exacta/tri/super in the 5th paid $63, $334, and
$1404. |
|
FG 12/16/06 |
I made the
fatal mistake of not recognizing lone speed in
the 9th after the late scratch of the 5 horse
Rathor. That scratch puts Devilment, the 1
horse, on an uncontested lead. Using the 1
gives me the pick4 for $6106 - ouch! |

DED 12/16/06 |
Didn't take
long to make a big score at Delta Saturday
night. We had the 1st race 3-4-10-7
superfecta dead to rights, paying $14,839.
Also hit the 5th tri and super for $319 and
$790. |

FG 12/9/06 |
Hit every
pick3, pick4, and the pick6 at the Fair Grounds
on Louisiana Champions Day with top or second
choice, starting in the 5th race. Carl's
Frosty Girl, the 2 horse in the 9th race, looked
like the likely closer in this speed-filled
filly sprint. Caught the exacta and tri,
and this $27.20 winner made the pick4 jump to
$793.

|
DED 12/2/06 |
I hit
another pick4 at Delta Saturday night, but I
thought I might have the only ticket. I
hope it was one of my subscribers that I had to
share the pool with! I started the ticket
with top 3 choices in the 7th, singled our 4th
choice in the 8th because the race was full of
speed and I didn't want the deep closer 7 horse,
and Zarb's Starlet's $$ figure, running line and
+1 fit the race, used 2 and 6 in the 9th (I
didn't like the big class drop on the 1 in this
20k N2L claiming race), and spread out using top
5 choices in the last. If the 7 wins the
stretch dual, I probably get the pool. Oh
well, I'll take the $1730 and re-load Sunday.
Watch this apprentice Talamo at the FG. I
saw him up close in the winners' circle Saturday
(he's been there a lot lately). He looks
like he's 15 years old, doesn't shave yet I
don't think, but he's feerless, likes to win,
and he's making the old vets take notice.

DED 11/30/06 |
Top choice

this $12 play: (1,9)with(2)with(2,6)with(3,7,8).

FG 11/23/06 |
This entry
was posted prior to posttime on this glorious
Thanksgiving Day. No matter how many
winners we have today, the recent winner here is
New Orleans and the Fair Grounds. After
suffering unprecedented water and wind damage in
the hurricane, the historic Gentilly oval
returns to host thoroughbred racing at it's
best. For decades, the FG has been part of
the heart and soul of New Orleans, just as much
as the Saints have been. Our track is
back, so a big chunk of New Orleans just came
back as well. I'm looking forward to a
great meet, cashing many tickets, going on
Sunday afternoons (and leaving work early on
weekdays to catch the late double), eating
oysters in the paddock bar, and chewing on a
delicious corn beef sandwich. Thank you
Churchill Downs, and Happy Thanksgiving!

could have had the whole pick4 pool if we use 4
selections in the 4th. Three out of four

CRC 10/30/06 |
Longshot
lone closer in Calder's last race Monday - Alma
Irene, the 4 horse, shows the only late run with
a +4, so I keyed her in the 2nd and 3rd spots on
tri and super tickets. She came running,
and just got up for 3rd, making our tri and
5-2-4-1 super good for $1210 and $6402. I
thought a 4-1, 16-1, 48-1, and 6-1 win odds
would result in bigger payoffs in this 10 horse
field. |
|
BM 10/29/06 |
$40,937
pick4 for a buck ending in Bay Meadows' last

one hit the 8-10-7-1-5-7 pick6, with 4 out of 6

definitely 5. |

LAD 10/7/06 |
Key our top
horse in the 3rd at LAD Saturday and hit the tri

was very hittable with these numbers.
Longshot second choice American Cade in the 4th
paid $49.40 to win and the pick3 paid $1077. |

LRL 10/4/06 |
Lone speed
longshot Please the Crowd looked like something
to eat on the sheet in Laurel's 9th race
Wednesday. At 20-1 in the M/L, he shows
the only early foot in the race, and should last
a long time on the lead. He went wire to
wire and paid $44.20 to win, they ran 5-3-7-4,

RET 9/29/06 |
Got out the
trap at Retama Friday night in the last two
races. The 8 horse, A Bit Wild, was the
lone KY bred and looked like speed/class pick,
and Rascal looks like he's been running against
better. Made the 8-9 double for $40
because I was 'steaming' at the time. It
turned out to be the right move as the late
double paid $68.60, and I had it 20 times.
Also used the other KY bred and lone closer,
Sous Chef, in the last race tri and super, and
hit for $149 and $710. They ran 9-2-5-6.
|
|
RET 9/28/06 |
Retama's
5th race Thursday night had a lone longshot
closer in the 10 horse, Seattle Girl. His
estimated quarter and half miles (23.5 and 47.0)
made him the lone stalker/closer in the race.
His 3/4 time was pretty slow, but this bunch was
only going 5.5 furlongs. Our top choice
ran out of the money, but the 2nd pick won,
Seattle Girl came running for the place, and we
hit the 9-10-4 tri for $1481, and the 9-10-4-5
super for $5113 !!!!!! |

DMR 8/26/06 |
10-4 exacta
in Del Mar's 5th was found in our top 4
selections, and paid $781 for $1.
Potential, the 10 horse, paid $72.20 to win and
was the only selection on Saturday's card that
we had to go 4 deep in the pick3's and pick4's.

and the 3-2-1-3 pick4 on the first four races,
paying $797 for a buck. |

Staying hot
at Retama Park, as we closed the night Saturday
with the late pick4 for $537. Also hit the
3-4-1 tri in the 2nd for $418, the 3-4-8-1 tri
and super in the 3rd for $152 and $1150, the
9-4-1 tri in the 5th for $149, the 9-5-6-3 tri
and super in the 6th for $164 and $455, $18.80
winner Windy Lou in the 7th and the 2-1-6-3 tri
and super for $295 and $419. |
|
MNR 8/13/06 |
$82.80
winner Tonz of Love, our 3rd choice in
Mountaineer's 6th Sunday, started the 2-2-9
pick3 that returned a healthy $1857. |

LAD 8/12/06 |

pick4 ending in LAD's 6th race Saturday returned

RET 8/11/06 |
I was very
impressed with the pick3 payouts at Retama Park
on Friday night for opening day there. Race 8
caught my eye as Bridal Gal, the 6 horse, was
the lone Kentucky bred in a race of Texas bred
fillies, and she was the lone closer in the
race. I figured her to run better than our 4th
place prediction, so I keyed her in all my
gimmicks. She came running as expected, and paid
$19.80 to win. Just missed late pick4. Looking
forward to a great meet there. |

SAR 8/07/06 |
Swept every
pick3, pick4, and the pick6 at Saratoga using
top or 2nd choice. Pick3's paid $242,
$224, $242, $184, and $119. Pick4's paid
$2091 and $259. Pick6 paid $17,918 and was
hit with 3 top choices and 3 second choices.

EVD 8/06/06 |
Early
double at Evangeline Saturday night had an
noticeable lack of early speed. Little Tin
Whistle in the first race was the most obvious
lone speed I've ever seen on these sheets.
I had to make a $100 win bet on him, even at
4-5, something I rarely do. He made a very
easy lead, and held on for the win. The
second race had two speed horses, the 3 and 4.
Pollock's Praise looked like cheap speed, but
Fiery Dreamer didn't break, leaving the 4 on an
easy lead. Even cheap speed is good speed
when it's not contested. Missed a nice
exacta and tri in the 2nd when the jock on the 3
misjudged the finish line, and stopped riding
with plenty race left. |

Late pick4
at Arlington Saturday was hit with our top
selection in each leg. The 4-3-1-4
combination paid $421 for a dollar.

EVD 8/03/06 |
Evangeline's 6th race Thursday night saw our top
choice favorite run out of the money, and our
next 4 selections comprise the 11-5-10-2
superfecta, which paid $12,847 for $2. |
|
DMR 7/28/06 |
$5022 super
in Del Mar's 3rd Friday found in our top 5
picks, and hitting the last race is becoming a
habit lately as we had the 8th race tri and
super for $446 and $2144. |
|
EVD 7/28/06 |
Top 4 super
in the last at EVD paid $4742, capping of a
decent night there. The best race to hit
is always the last. |
|
EVD 7/27/06 |
Up and
down night at Evangeline had some nice pick3's,
COLD 7-10 exacta in the 5th for $200, and the
last race tri and super almost
COLD for $259 and $1276. |

DMR 7/24/06 |
This
would qualify as a recent disappointment, rather
than a recent winner. Made a small pick4
and a token $2 pick6 ticket at Del Mar Monday.
The pick4:
(11)with(1,4)with(1,5,6)with(2,6,7,10).
The pick6: 3-3-11-1-1-10. I took a shot
with the 4 in the 6th race because of the stud
fee angle, but not on the pick6 ticket.
Ended up with 4 chances to hit the pick4, which
was won by Guitar Man, a horse whose only race
was at 4 1/2 furlongs. Missed the pick4
and had 4/6 on the pick6 ticket, which paid
$591.80 for 5/6. Didn't sleep well last
night. |
|
BEL 7/19/06 |
Belmont's
late pick4 Wednesday could be hit with this $12
play: (5,12)with(3)with(1,6)with(5,8,9).
The 5-3-6-9 combination returned $711. |
|
CT 7/19/06 |
$3843
pick4 (5-3-3-4) at Charles Town Wednesday night
was almost nutted on the sheet. Top choice
winner in the 4th paid $21.80, top choice winner
in the 5th paid $7.00, second choice in the 6th
paid $5.20, and top choice in the 7th paid
$13.20 |

DEL 7/15/06 |
Two
big hits on July 15th, CBY 7th Race and
DEL 10th Race. Two big exactas and tris
with very little investment. What really
hurt in the DEL race. Keying the top horse
with the next four would have hit a $6661
super. A $20 investment. In addition, using your
sheets and your sheets only, I ended up #34 in
the BRISBET contest on July 15th. In so
doing, I will be entered in the finals on August
5th with a chance for the big contest in Las
Vegas or some very nice prizes.

Lone
Star's 7th race Sunday had an obvious pace
scenario. Our top choice favorite won as
expected, but she had to run down the lone speed
#1 horse, Shareshten. The 1 was rated as
our 5th best horse in the race, but had to be
respected as the only gas. We had all the
gimmicks in this one, with the 5-1-4-2 super
paying $613. |
|
MTH 7/16/06 |
Had the
late pick4 at Monmouth Sunday almost COLD paying
$1079 for $1, including top choice winner Cigno
d'Oro in the 8th paid $42.40 to win, and the 8-2
exacta COLD for $234. |
|
EVD 7/07/06 |
Our
third choice in Evangeline's 8th race Friday
night made the pick4 jump to $1782. Tangie
D paid $35.20 to win, and the other legs were
won by our top or second choice. Top
numbers won all night at EVD and Lone Star. |
|
PEN 7/06/06 |
Penn
National's 4th race Thursday night illustrates
what this system is all about. Our top
selection, Put Out the Fuse, fit the description
of speed-class, and our 4th choice, De Magic
Moment, was the obvious lone closer in the race.
Despite a layoff since August '05, and his most
recent races have been routes, De Magic Moment
has been working well and his running style
makes him a 'must use' on the trifecta and
superfecta ticket. Put Out the Fuse paid
$8.80 to win, and De Magic Moment came running
for second. The 4-3 exacta paid $77.20,
the 4-3-8 tri paid $253. |

LS 6/29/06 |
Pick3's
and pick4's are the way to go lately. We
hit all of them again using the top numbers,
this time at Lone Star Thursday night.
Pick3's: $174, $122, $581, $361, $120, $91, and
$113. Pick4's: $592 and $200 for $1
